Description 

Lady GH contains recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH), also known as somatropin. It is a single-chain polypeptide of 191 amino acids with a molecular weight of approximately 22,124 Da. The sequence is identical to endogenous pituitary-derived human growth hormone. Somatropin is produced using recombinant DNA technology in a mammalian cell expression system, ensuring full biological equivalence to the native hormone.

Contraindications & Warnings 

Do not use if you have: 

• Known hypersensitivity to somatropin or any excipient 
• Active malignancy or history of cancer (active neoplastic disease) 
• Evidence of intracranial lesion or increased intracranial pressure 
• Severe obesity or untreated obstructive sleep apnea 
• Diabetic retinopathy (proliferative or pre-proliferative) 
• Acute critical illness (e.g., post-major surgery, multiple trauma, acute respiratory failure) 
• Age under 18 years (unless under specialist endocrinology care) 
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding 

Warnings

• Use only under medical supervision with regular monitoring (IGF-1 levels, glucose, thyroid function, and clinical parameters). 
• Not a substitute for lifestyle interventions, approved therapies for metabolic disorders, or treatment of underlying conditions. 
• Increased risk of glucose intolerance, diabetes, or worsening of pre-existing diabetes. 
• Potential for fluid retention, arthralgia, myalgia, or carpal tunnel syndrome (usually transient). Discontinue immediately and seek medical attention if signs of intracranial hypertension (severe headache, visual changes), pancreatitis, or severe allergic reaction occur. 

Dosage & Administration 

• Subcutaneous injection only. 
• Standard Dose: 1 IU per day (1 dose = 1 IU) 
• Approximately 24 clicks = 1 IU (based on typical somatropin potency of ≈3 IU/mg; confirm exact conversion with your healthcare provider) 
• Frequency: Daily dosing, with 2-3 days off per week recommended for optimal long-term benefit 
• Timing: Best taken in the morning on an empty stomach or as directed by your healthcare provider Cycle: 4-6 weeks on, followed by a break as advised 
• Pen Duration on Standard Protocol: Up to 40 doses per pen (full pen lasts ≈40 days with daily use) 

Administration Instructions:

1. Wash hands and prepare a clean surface. 
2. Attach a sterile needle. 
3. Dial the required number of clicks. 
4. Clean injection site (abdomen or upper thigh) with alcohol swab. 
5. Insert needle at 45-90° angle and inject slowly. 
6. Withdraw needle, dispose safely, and cap the pen. 
7. Rotate injection sites to minimize irritation. 
8. Always inspect solution before use: Do not inject if cloudy, discoloured, or containing particles. 

Side Effects 

Somatropin is generally well tolerated at physiological replacement doses. Common or potential adverse reactions include: 

• Injection-site reactions (pain, redness, swelling, lipoatrophy) 
• Fluid retention/edema (hands, feet, face) 
• Arthralgia, myalgia, or carpal tunnel syndrome (usually transient)

• Glucose intolerance or hyperglycaemia 
• Rare: Intracranial hypertension (pseudotumor cerebri), pancreatitis, hypothyroidism, gynecomastia (in males) 
• If any severe or persistent symptoms occur (e.g., severe headache with visual changes, severe abdominal pain, or signs of allergic reaction), discontinue use and contact your healthcare provider immediately. 

Storage & Handling 

• Store either in refrigerator (fridge); never freeze or in a cool dry place (≤25-30°C / 77-86°F). Keep pen capped and protected from light and heat. 
• After first use: Same storage conditions. 
• Keep out of reach of children. 
• Discard if expired or solution appears abnormal.
